Library News: PCDL Gets a New Look!

As you may have noticed, staff at Perry County District Library have been implementing many changes over the past year. We have worked on drastically changing the look of the interior of our buildings by adding more display areas, comfortable furniture, free coffee, and many other improvements that we hope will make these locations comfortable and inviting places for you to spend your time. Many of these improvements were made possible through a "Trading Spaces" grant received through the State Library of Ohio.

Computer and Internet Classes @ Your Library

Have you wanted to learn more about computers but you weren't sure where to start? Let the library show you how. We will be offering basic classes which cover: computer basics, internet basics, gadget basics, and much more. Individualized computer classes are also available; call the main library to learn more. Check the calendar for dates and times at your branch. Registration is required for these programs. You can register by calling the main library at 740-342-4194

Perry County Memories: Oral History Project

This oral history project is a combined effort of the Perry County District Library, the Perry County Genealogical Society and the Perry County Historical and Cultural Arts Society. It is our goal to accumulate the stories and histories of our citizens so that future generations might gain insight into the rich history and diversity of this county.
