DUE TO THE SUMMER READING PROGRAM, TEEN GRAB AND GO KITS ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED AND WILL RESUME IN AUGUST 2021.
Teen Grab and Go Kits are available for any child who is 13 to 17 years old.
Grab and Go Kits are offered for teens once a month and require online registration via the library's online calendar.
Kits are usually geared around one holiday or seasonal craft or a STEM activity and include most needed materials, along with instructions and other information surrounding that month's theme.
Themes change monthly and may range from seasonal themes to holiday themes.
Past themes: NYE Celebration Bag, Anti-Stress Kit, Blind Date with a Book Kit, Shrinky Dink Key Chain Kit, and Bee Garden Kit.

Teen Hangout is a weekly teen-only hangout for those who are between the ages of 13 and 17.
Held each Wednesday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, Teen Hangouts are hosted at the New Lexington Location in the Teen Room. Each week will host a different activity, such as coloring, game nights, puzzles, and crafts. This is a great way for teens to interact with their friends outside of school in a safe, neutral environment.
Teen Hangout also offers a place for teens to work on homework together and chat with the Teen & Adult Services Coordinator and Reference Librarian about programming ideas and what they'd like to see from their library.

Between the Lines Book Subscription Service
Between the Lines is a new book subscription for Teen and Adult PCDL patrons. By signing up, you will receive a selection of books once a month that have been curated specifically for you by the PCDL Reference Librarian.
Signing up is easy, just visit the Between the Lines page on our website and fill out the form! You can make changes to your reader profile whenever you need to and can cancel your subscription at any time.
