Copies of Nicky: A Memoir can be checked out at any PCDL location. The book's blurb is below:

Nicky: A Memoir is a charming and heartfelt collection of essays and autobiographical sketches of an Italian-American boy growing up in 1950s small-town America. The author's stories of his colorful Sicilian and Southern Italian family and neighbors, his Catholic upbringing and education, and early childhood escapades evoke a simpler, and in many ways more understandable, past. As Nicky grows up, he recounts a series of experiences that led to his life in the theatre as a professor and professional director, as well as several adventures in Italy and the joys of mid-life adoption of his two daughters.
