Don't Cut Ohio Libraries!
The Ohio House of Representatives has introduced their version of the proposed state budget, which drastically reduces the amount of funding going to Ohio’s public libraries. The House's proposal reduces state funding for Ohio’s public libraries by more than $100 million over the next two fiscal years.
This cut would severely impact the programs and resources made available in your local public libraries.
Now is your chance to make your voice heard, and to stand up for your library. Contact your Representative and House Speaker Huffman by Monday, April 7th, and let them know that you support your library, and what library services mean to you, your family, and your community. A phone call or email can make all the difference.
