What is Stepping Stones?

The Stepping Stones: Adult Literacy Education program is an ongoing program designed to empower adult literacy students. The goal of the program is to increase awareness of adult illiteracy in Perry County, embolden people to better themselves through learning to read, and provide safe and well-trained volunteers to assist students in becoming readers while also empowering those we serve to reach personal goals while readying themselves for employment opportunities.
