The Sun-Earth-Moon Connections Kit (NASA@MyLibrary Kit) better helps homeschoolers understand their place in space, and how the Sun and Moon impact our planet.  Homeschoolers will focus on Modeling Meaningful Eclipses by using simple materials to create 3D models of the Earth, Moon, and Sun to demonstrate solar and lunar eclipses.

Garlic Production for the Home Gardener presented by OSU Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator, Ted Wiseman.

Garlic is a relatively easy crop to grow, and fall is an ideal time to plant garlic.  This homeschool program will cover the various types of garlic that can be grown in Ohio.  Proper planting, harvesting, and storage techniques will also be covered.  The program will end with a tasting of 6 different varieties of garlic.

Observing a total solar eclipse can be an exciting, once in a lifetime experience!  Long before there were cameras or telescopes, eclipse watchers recorded what they saw in the sky in words, drawings, and paintings.  Tweens will experience this pre-telescope scientific recording by practicing scientific observation through an observation log and by creating their own solar eclipse chalk drawing.
