Artistic Design through 3-D Printing Part 1 (Homeschool Program)

During Part 1 of this 2-part series, participants will become acquainted with the principals of 3D modeling and design through the use of TinkerCAD. Participants will engage in a series of guided tutorials as we craft unique objects together. No prior experience is required.

Participants must register for Part 2 separately; during this second session we will include printing and painting creations using both 3-D printers and pens.

Artistic Design through 3-D Printing Part 2 (Homeschool Program)

During Part 2 of this 2-part series, participants will be introduced to the use of both 3D printers and 3D printing pens. Participants will work with the 3D printed objects which they designed during Part 1 of this series, adding color and style through the use of 3D printing pens and acrylic paints. Participants will also work hands-on with 3D printing pens to craft unique models in guided exercises. This one might be messy, so dress accordingly!

The Art of Sketching & Painting Part 1 (Homeschoolers program)

This art program will be taught by Elizabeth Vest, artist & educator.  Participants will be introduced to the art of sketching and have the opportunity to create their own sketches to be used during Part 2 of this series. All supplies will be provided by the library.

Masks are required at all library locations for all ages (2 and up).

Planning & Preparing for Your Next Step (Homeschoolers)

It's never too soon to start preparing students for the next steps.  This program, geared toward Middle & High School age students and parents, will introduce participants to college and career resources in our area along with library resources to assist in preparing for the future.  We welcome guest speaker Amy Doerfler from Tri-County Career Center.  Other speaker(s) TBA.
